Ever wondered how tea grown in Hawaii would taste like? Now you have the opportunity to try it, as Samovar Tea has joined forces with Tea Hawaii – a Hawaii-based tea company. The two currently available teas are an oolong and a black tea.
This is not the only tea vendor on the Big Island – Mauna Kea Tea and Hilo Coffee Mill are other companies who also sell the local tea. Mauna Kea Tea have a tea farm on the slope of Mauna Kea, which is the highest mountain on the island and their offerings are organically grown. Prices vary anything form 5 USD (3,5 EUR) for a sample to 40 USD (28 EUR) for full size packages.
