This is an organically grown, white tea from Wuyang, China. Looking at the dry form of this tea I can see a majority of of crushed leaves, twigs and a few furry tea buds. The color of this mixture is rather green and has a sweet, honey scent. The infused leaves are however half brown and half dark green. Both smell and flavor are closest to Pai Mu Tan. The liquor is not very smooth and it even dries the mouth and throat a lot. Although papery and coarse it has the classic, white tea calming quality. I would say it;s an average white tea, with the advantage that it’s organic.
It comes in a 40g matte paper box with mental top and bottom and a black/white design. It’s tasteful and practical.
